From conception through postpartum

Before, during, and after.

From the cycle you were tracking, through the pregnancy, into the body that comes back. Quiet company, every step.

A body, across one year
cycle → pregnancy → postpartum
What the ring tracks

It listens to your body, quietly.

Pregnancy moves fast. The ring stays still — recording the same handful of signals every day, so the changes are visible to you the moment you want to look.

Belle Ring
Skin temperature
Your post-ovulation rise — held, every night.
Resting HR
A gentle climb — read in context, not as an alert.
Sleep & recovery
The honest signal for the fourth trimester, too.
Week 14 of 40
36.92°C
Steady · normal for this trimester
Nine months, in your data

The same body, changing in chapters.

Pregnancy isn't one event — it's a slow rewrite of nearly every metric the ring measures. Belle Ring stays with you for all of it, so the changes feel less like a surprise and more like a story you're already inside.

Weeks 0–13

The first trimester

Skin temp +0.4°C
  • Skin temperature stays elevated — like a luteal phase that doesn't end.
  • Resting heart rate drifts up gently, a few beats above your baseline.
  • Sleep often gets shallower. The ring shows the fatigue, in numbers.
Weeks 14–27

The middle middle

Resting HR +8 bpm
  • Resting heart rate keeps climbing — by trimester two, often 5–10 bpm above baseline.
  • HRV settles into a new normal. The ring stops calling it "low" — it's just yours, now.
  • Sleep often deepens. Energy returns. The data confirms what you feel.
Weeks 28–40

The third trimester

Peak RHR ~80 bpm
  • Resting heart rate reaches its peak — read as normal for now, not as an alert.
  • Skin temperature plateaus, holding steady through the last weeks.
  • Sleep fragments again. Belle doesn't penalise broken nights, it just records them.
After birth

The fourth trimester

RHR → baseline
  • Resting heart rate drops back to baseline within days — one of the clearest signals you'll see.
  • HRV & sleep take longer. The ring shows the return, week by week, on your schedule.
  • Your cycle comes back when it comes back. Belle waits, and asks before switching modes.

From the first trimester to the fourth, the same four signals — quietly recorded, in one place, on one hand.

Three modes. One ring.

Quietly, at the right moment.

The app changes — quietly — at the right moments. Here's what each mode shows you and what it stops showing.

Before

Conceiving

The cycle view you know — phases, fertile window, ovulation confirmation. No streaks, no pressure. The ring tells you when, then waits.

During

Pregnant

Cycle view steps back. Sleep, recovery, resting heart rate and temperature take over, with norms that adapt as the weeks go on.

After

Recovering

The first weeks: just sleep, RHR, HRV. No cycle expectations. Breastfeeding-aware. The ring waits for your body to be ready.

"What I wanted through all of it was quiet company. Not an app asking me to perform, not a coach. Just a steady witness to what my body was doing."

Pregnancy-specific questions
Is the ring safe during pregnancy?
Yes. Belle Ring is a passive wellness device — it measures skin temperature, optical heart rate, and motion. Nothing more. There's no medication, no stimulation, no claims of clinical effect; it simply records what your body is doing and shows it back to you.
Does it help detect pregnancy complications?
It is not a diagnostic device. It can surface trends — sustained RHR rise beyond T3 norms, HRV crashes, sleep collapse — that may be worth raising with your provider. We do not screen for pregnancy complications and you should not rely on it for that.
What about miscarriage?
If BBT drops sharply during early pregnancy mode, the app flags it neutrally with a 'check in with your provider' note. We do not predict outcomes.
Does it work while breastfeeding?
Yes. Postpartum mode is breastfeeding-aware: cycles often don't return for 6+ months while exclusively breastfeeding, and the app says so instead of expecting a period.
When does the ring switch back to cycle mode?
When BBT and HRV resume their bi-phasic pattern (typically 2–3 cycles after first postpartum bleed). The app offers the switch — you confirm.
Is it comfortable during pregnancy?
Most users size up by half during T3. Free resize within the first year is included with Belle Care — without it, a resize is available at cost.
